Prize Structure
The minimum points required for each round are as follows;
Preliminary Rounds: All Categories
Gold Prize – 80 points and above
Silver Prize – 70 points and above
Bronze Prize – 60 points and above
Please take note:
Each Gold Prize winner shall only be allowed ONE performance for the final round, regardless of the number of gold prizes won at the preliminary round. Gold Prize awarded for performances on different instruments are excluded from this rule.
Grand Finals: All Categories
First Prize – Top scoring participant/ensemble of the category with a minimum of 90 points.
Second Prize – Second highest scoring participant/ensemble of the category with a minimum of 85 points.
Third Prize – Third highest scoring participant/ensemble of the category with a minimum of 85 points.
Certificates and Prizes
Preliminary Round:
Participants awarded with Gold, Silver or Bronze prizes for the online preliminary round will receive the Award Certificate and Medal. If no prize is awarded for the performance, the participant will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Final Round:
First, Second, Third Prize and Honourable Mention recipients will receive an Award Certificate and Medal. Other Finalists will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Postage of Certificates and Medals
The certificate and medal (if any) will be sent to the registered delivery address after the announcement of results. Please ensure that the address is accurate. Proof of delivery will be provided but we shall not be held responsible for any items lost in delivery.
A nominal postage fee is chargeable as follows:
Peninsular Malaysia – RM10
Sabah & Sarawak – RM20
International – RM60
Certificates and medals will be posted out to the shipping address provided by the end of November. A tracking number will be sent to you via SMS once your certificate and medal has been packaged. You will only be able to start tracking the parcel AFTER the courier picks it up and Pos Malaysia has scanned it into the system. We are unable to confirm how long this process takes. Please be in touch with us if you HAVE NOT received your certificate/medal by 20 December 2020.
