Solo – Open Category
The Strings competition welcomes participants of all nationalities and accepts applications in the following age groups. The participant’s age group is determined by the Year of Birth.
Participants are not required to perform the same piece offered in the Preliminary Round for the Finals. However, do take note that the same limit on performance duration applies.

Administration Fee*** per participant is applicable for registration to the Final Round.
***Only applicable for participants from the Malaysian regional preliminary rounds. For other regions, please refer to your country representative.
*PLEASE TAKE NOTE – Live Preliminary Round entry fees and Final Round Administration Fee are inclusive of ONE audience entry pass for the Solo Categories (Open, YA and YAJ) and TWO audience passes for the Ensemble Category.

Performances exceeding the stipulated time limit may be disqualified.
