Julia Whitbread is Director of Music at Bancroft’s School where she
teaches throughout the age range 11 to 18 years including, GCSE and A
level Music. She trained as a singer and pianist at The Royal Academy of
Music and did a PGCE with the Open University and more recently an MA
in Music Education with Trinity College of Music.
Julia has been Musical Director for many Amateur Dramatic Companies and Youth Community Projects. She has written six Nativity Plays with original music for Key Stage 1 which she is hoping to publish in the near future. Julia also runs an adult Community Choir with 60 members.
